Filling the void....

There's something real satisfying about working, and having gotten it done. ~Lady Bird Johnson, quoted in Ruth Shick Montgomery, Mrs. L.B.J., 1964

...that was left on completion of the Cornwall Cottage Sampler was decided yesterday.  As it was such a large project I thought it needed to be replaced by another large project but instead of starting something new , which was very tempting, I have decided to concentrate on Landscape.

I managed to exceed the weekly quota and it would probably have been even more if it were not for the distraction of the French Open.  Sadly not the result I wanted but it was a pretty good match to watch none the less.

Sunday proved to be another productive day, I walked the dog, had breakfast at my parents, washed the kitchen floor, cleaned the cupboard under the sink, picked some rhubarb and made a crumble for desert.  I've also managed to read a couple more chapters of my book.  I think thensunshinemis having a positive effect on my productivity so long may the sun shine!

A great replacement for the finished Cornwall Sampler. I'm not sure if I could have resisted a new start, lol.
