Saturday turned out to be quite a productive day. Max had his walk, met eldest son driving his bus so was able to pass over DIL's birthday card to him, ironing done, lunch at local garden centre, front garden objective for the day complete and Cross Stitcher SAL Part 3 completed and a new book started to read at home.
All of the motifs would be great for small decorations too - maybe I'll add them to my to do list. I'm already wondering what the next motif will be and have an idea on how I will finish this one when all the stitching is complete.
My new book is one that will be recognised by Julie of Julie's Stitchyknitter Journal as I believe she has read most of if not all of them - Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death by M C Beaton. It's a nice easy read and I am thoroughly enjoying it.
Fingers crossed Sunday will prove to be just as productive for me - I have a long list of things I wanted to get done over the weekend.

Oh that was a productive day! I love seeing your SAL piece growing.
Sweet little finish, one of your objectives for the month crossed off already - well done.
Agatha is always a fun read, easy but enchanting with her silly antics. Sky 1 are showing the second of her books (the Potted Gardener) serialised on Tuesday at 9pm - Agatha is played by Ashley Jenson, she was not my idea of what Agatha would look like. the Quiche was on TV sometime ago.
Lovely stitching. My favourite is still your gingerbread man.
