Change of plan

Take time enough for your meals, and eat them in company whenever you can. There is no need for hurry in life—least of all when we are eating. ~Edward Everett Hale, "How to Get the Best of It," c.1892

Due to the parkway being partly closed yesterday I didn't get to go to the craft show - I didn't fancy being stuck in traffic for ages just to get to the other side of the city.  This meant I got to spend more time on the Cornwall Cottage Sampler and I am now left with just one large motif to complete and some backstiching and wording.

As we are on holiday next week I'm  not sure if I will get to work on it but there will still be one more Sunday in May  to get it finished - the end really is nigh!

It's been a weekend of eating out for me. Friday I was out with Colette, Saturday
DH and I went somewhere new to us for for lunch.  We went to The Greedy Goose and the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced.  It is in one of the oldest buildings in Plymouth.

We will definitely go there again.

Today I went out with the girls from work to The Pasta bar.  The food was tasty and the company fantastic.  I think next week I should eat salads.
