A measure of the warmth and comfort gained from an object if it were to be snuggle hugged.
I received a beautiful Fisherman's Wife Cowl in the most snuggly yarn and the prettiest soft pink shade from my dear friend Karen. It has certainly helped keep me warm and snuggly on my walks with Max since it arrived. I was lucky enough to become friends with Karen through our shared love of cross stitching - I replied to Karen's penpal request in The World of Cross Stitching magazine many, many years ago and we have met up lots of times and keep in touch as often as we can. To me, Karen is like the sister I never had and has been such a wonderful friend - crafting truly does bring you together with wonderful people.

That is a lovely gift to receive and so beautifully knitted.
Such a lovely gift that you received from your friend. And so nice to read that you have kept your friendship alive over so many years.

What a beautiful and useful gift! It's so special making new friends through a shared hobby.
I've knitted a few of those, they are so cosy. I love the pink shade of that one
Arh bless you Linda, that is really sweet. I feel like that with you too, you never judge me, you are always kind and generous, you let me tell me things that I couldn't tell anyone else. You are a true and loyal friend.
I am on Cowl no. 12 which is the last one, I have used the money from my ebay stamp sales to buy the wool and thought it would bring a bit of happiness to my friends and family. They have been warmly received...
That has just reminded me, I never did sort out those LOTV stamps for you, I am so sorry - will try and remember to do it.
k xx
