An outlet for my cards

I finally plucked up the courage to ask the guys who own Vintage Brew if they would allow me to leave some of my cards at their cafe/Bistro to try and sell. Proceeds from any sales I get will go to charity which for the next twelve months is one close to my heart - The Dogs Trust.  I was so pleased they are going to help me with this but of course now I'm anxious as to whether I will get any sales.  I also now need to price them and I'm not very good at putting a price on what I make - any tips?

Linda, I would be very pleased to buy some of your cards, if you would send me £10 worth plus postage I would be very happy to transfer you the £10 for the dogs trust and if I may call on you again in a few more months for some more that would also be very lovely.

I have always found it's not the price you sell them at, it's the cost of making them, there is a limit to how much you can charge, so the best way to make money is to ensure you don't use expensive bits and bobs.

I think I agree with Marlene. Think about how much the card cost to make, then determine a price that ensures you have a profit. Since you are donating the profits, and not using this as a business, I would probably recommend charging less rather than more, so you sell more, rather than fewer. Does that make sense?

Good luck with the card sales, i'm sure they will sell very well.
