Blank canvas

We caught the train out to Bere Alston yesterday with MIL to see our eldest son and family.  It was the first time great grandmother had seen the newest addition to the family.  I also enjoyed more cuddles with Theo, Grandad played battleships with Connor, while I chatted to Elisha who was busy cleaning her bike.

While I  was sorting out the other day (always sorting out my stash) , I came across a set of three small canvasses and decided to start decorating them with a view to using up some more of the flowers from my midweek playing session.

So far I have covered them in scraps of torn paper taken from my scraps pile.  Since I took this photo I have added some texture past using three different stencils.  They have now been left to dry naturally and I will continue adding to these canvasses throughout the week.

We have also been enjoying the Olympics  and of course I am really happy that Andy Murray will come away with another Olympic medal - just the colour to be decided later today.  Team GB are doing really well which is good to see, will we come away with more medals than 2012?  I do hope so.

Sounds like you had a really lovely day Linda sweet friend! Your canvasses look pretty, I can't wait to see them finished. Are you going to show us after each stage, I'd love that! Have a lovely Sunday and a great upcoming week! Hazel xx
