Mother/daughter days are some of the best

A daughter may outgrow your lap, but she will never outgrow your heart.  ~Author Unknown

As a teenager our daughter was a bit of a mare to live with but thankfully we came through that.  As a mother herself now she certainly understands what it is to be a parent!  I'm  lucky now that we are able to spend days together having fun and listening to each other.  Most Fridays we meet up, sometimes I  have Harlee-Jay with me but this Friday it was just us, the adorable Lincoln and Max.

We took a trip out to one of my favourite places, Tavistock where we walked along by the canal which is one side of the park to see the ducks (Lincoln was fast asleep and a little young to appreciate these things at the moment).  The weather looked a bit grim to start with but thankfully it turned out to be a beautifully sunny day.

We were able to wander round the market where I picked up some sweet fox wooden embellishments (to go with my papers) and some seaside themed ones as well as some stickers for our planners.  I think Colette is picking up the planner bug thanks to a little pushing from me, it's  nice to share a hobby together.  We were also able to sit outside and have lunch which was delicious.

These days are special and I hope there will be lots more days like these.
