It's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday over at Julia's Stamping Ground. i hope to take part more regularly this year. If you're curious to see what other crafters get up to during the week then this is a great place to visit as lots and lots of people post photos of their workspace for everyone to have a good nosy at.
On my workdesk this week is the journal I am using for the Journal 52 prompts. I sketched out the ideas on the pages and then I've covered some of them up with pages from an old children's dictionary (the sketches will be worked over these pages again). The pages have then been given a coat of translucent Paper Artsy paint. A roll of washi tape from Paperchase is my next addition to the page I think - the pages definitely evolve as the week passes.
Also on my desk is my Plum Paper planner which I need to work on decorating for next week, a fairy calendar which came free with a cross stitch magazine - the designs are on my to do list! I also have the Elf calendar that Valerie kindly sent to me. Some rubber stamps for planning and journalling and a few rub ons I came across while looking for something else and finally a card I've made to enter into a challenge which I will be posting about tomorrow.
Right I'm off now to have a look amd see what other people have been working with this week.

Lovely page developing there, Linda. It will be interesting to see how it turns out! Thank you for your visit and your good wishes - I'm glad you enjoyed the glimpse of my creative space. It's nearly tidy now.

What a lovely colour that yellow gold is, and I love the text showing through - I'm looking forward to seeing how they develop. Thanks so much for stopping by my desk earlier, and I hope you have a great week,

Nice page! I'm doing the Journal 52 prompts but have to admit to not getting started yet. Sigh.
good luck with the journal 52 - I'm doing Wanderlust this year and already falling behind, two weeks in!! Helen #1
Your workspace looks so organised and well used, lots of ideas whizzing around in your head to keep you busy.
Such a good way to treat the pages, I love the potential for their evolution, really fascinating. Made me smile that you found rub one and so put them on your desk. Does that mean you'll use them sooner? Gawd, if I did that, you wouldn't ever see my desk for clutter!!
great looking desk and start to the journal page. I am already behind and only 3 weeks into the year...oh well the story of my life but I am having fun doing what I do. Have a great week and thanks for sharing. Vickie #61
