Emma M Nutt day

Today is Emma M Nutt day, who was the first professional female telephone operator.  It's hard to imagine how we managed without telephones, my parents didn't get a telephone installed until I was about 18 and I think the first mobile phone I ever owned was a hand me down from one of the children and that must have been at the turn of this century!

I've been working with the scraps of paper from Tuesday evenings play session.  I cut out some of the gingerbread houses adding Stickles to the rooftops again and I've added some glossy accents to the gumdrops.

Yesterday I managed to make five more CAS cards using the gingerbread houses and another sheet of paper from that gorgeous DSP pack.  The sentiment comes from a retired SU stamp set.

There were a couple of small pieces left from this sheet of paper which I will add some glaze to and then cut them and the gumdrops out ready to go in my sweet jar when I find it.  I also had a piece approximately 8inches left over which I will save to decorate my planner with later in the year.
