One of our lovely ex locum pharmacists Ike is getting married in four weeks so the girls got together for a little celebration. Julia had kindly arranged a cream tea at Vintage Brew (a new to me cafe). We enjoyed a selection of sandwiches, quiche, cherry scones , plain scones, banana bread and apple cake, fresh strawberries and blueberries all washed down with copious amounts of tea. The only minor fault with everything was that it was not clotted cream served with the scones (having said that they made the scones at our request as they don't normally have them), other than that it was extremely enjoyable.

The lighting wasn't brilliant to take the photos but this is the table all set up for us.
Delicious cherry scone with jam and cream.

Dee tucking in.
A delicious selection of sandwiches, the bread was made by the owner's and was very tasty.
Anna enjoying one of the scones.
I think it is definitely somewhere I would go again and its nice to know that dogs are also welcome there.

What a beautiful spread Linda! But no clotted cream . . . sacrilege! ;) It looks like you all had a high old time! Have a great week, see you Wednesday! Hazel xx
